Not sure of your Infant/Toddler Shoe size??? No Worries...Tippy-Tots has you covered. While the best way to ensure you're getting the correct shoes for your baby is to try them on, there are certainly times when that isn't possible. Maybe you're buying shoes as a gift, or maybe you found a deal online you just can't pass up. Whatever the reason, the following chart below can help you determine which shoe size to buy for the special baby in your life. We highly recommend that parents consider their baby's weight, width, length, and age in determining an estimate of what size to choose. Keep in mind that most babies either wear true-to-size apparel and footwear, while others are still in the growing stages. In short, take a guesstimate to decide if you should size-up or down for comfort and space to support the soles. If your baby has narrow feet you should select regular "E" width, and for the wider feet "EEE" is best suitable.

Quick Tip:

  • Average age is well, an average. If the baby you're buying for is big for his/her age, the clothing size column may be a better indicator of what shoe size to buy.
  • European and UK baby shoe brands tend to run larger, on average, than American baby shoe brands; a size 18 EU for example, is more like a 3.5 US.
  • Most brands have specific sizing charts for their shoes; look to see if you can find one on their website to help you make the best choice.
